National Park Service Layoffs and Protests

Nationwide protests are scheduled for March 1, 2025, at various national parks across the country in response to the recent mass layoffs within the National Park Service (NPS). The protests aim to voice opposition to the termination of approximately 1,000 probationary NPS employees.
