U.S. Coast Guard Rescue of Injured Sailor from Aground Sailboat

The U.S. Coast Guard rescued an injured man from an aground sailboat off the coast of Sapelo Sound, Georgia after his sailboat ran aground and began taking on water. The man sustained a severe hand injury while his vessel was being prepared for towing. He was safely evacuated via helicopter and transported to a medical center for treatment.
