Shark Facts and Statistics

Muthi Annuriy from Indonesia conquered her fear of sharks by swimming with over 20 of them. Shark sightings have been on the rise in the U.S., including a recent tiger shark sighting off Hawaii's South Shore. There are over 500 known shark species, with a total population estimated around one billion. The chance of being killed by a shark is one in 3.7 million.
