Border Patrol Rescue Operations in El Paso Sector
El Paso Sector Border Patrol agents rescued over 2,400 migrants from 244 human smuggling stash houses near the border in New Mexico. Chief Scott Good reported raids and arrests of smugglers forcing migrants into overcrowded and extorted conditions. Agents also apprehended a previously deported child sex offender attempting to re-enter the United States.
