Woman Who Boarded Flight Without Ticket Charged as Stowaway

Svetlana Dali boarded a flight from New York to Paris without a ticket, was detained upon landing, and now faces charges of being a stowaway. She appeared in federal court in Brooklyn, could face up to five years in prison, and claims her life is in danger if detained. She bypassed security and ticketing checkpoints and admitted to intentionally evading TSA officials and Delta employees.

Stowaway Incident on Delta Air Lines Flight

A Russian national and legal resident of the United States, Svetlana Dali, stowed away on a Delta Air Lines flight to Paris without a boarding pass, evading TSA check points. She was later taken into FBI custody at JFK International airport after disrupting a return flight to New York.

Attempted Stowaway on Delta Airlines Flight

Texas man arrested for attempting to sneak onto a flight by taking a photo of another passenger's boarding pass and posing as a stowaway on a Delta Airlines flight from Salt Lake City to Austin, Texas. He was caught when the flight was fully booked and he had nowhere to sit.
