Minnesota Dam Failure and Flooding
A dam in south central Minnesota failed, leading to fears of flooding for at least 45,000 residents in the valley below. Rapidan Dam, a 114-year-old structure, is at risk of collapsing due to abnormally high levels of rainfall. Evacuations have been advised for low-lying areas in the Minnesota River Valley.
