German Far-Right Extremist Convicted of Hostage-Taking During Jailbreak Attempt

German far-right extremist serving a life sentence for attacking a synagogue in 2019 was convicted of hostage-taking during a jailbreak attempt, sentenced to seven years in prison. He had previously killed two people in the synagogue attack.
