California Homeless Crisis and Tiny Homes Initiative

California Gov. Gavin Newsom promised to deliver 1,200 'tiny homes' to help shelter the homeless in 2023, but none have opened yet due to delays and issues with funding and site approvals. Homelessness continues to be a problem in California despite previous efforts.
