Barcelona's tourist tax increase for cruise passengers

Barcelona plans to raise tourist tax for cruise passengers visiting the city for less than 12 hours in order to make tourism more respectful and beneficial for the city. Anti-tourism protests have been taking place in popular Spanish holiday destinations due to rising housing costs and displacement of residents.
