Recent Shootings in Chicago over Easter Weekend

Over Easter weekend in Chicago, at least 32 people were shot, four fatally. The first fatal shooting occurred in a drive-by incident on 87th Street. Another fatal shooting took place inside a home on South Elizabeth Street. Five females were shot on Easter Sunday, with one 19-year-old dying at the scene. In total, 103 people were killed in Chicago from January through March 2024.
