Tuition Increase in Georgia's Public Universities

Georgia's public universities and colleges will increase tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year to cover rising costs and maintain quality education. The typical in-state undergraduate will pay $6,466 in tuition and fees, up 2.4% from the previous year.

Tuition Increase at University of Wisconsin

In-state tuition at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other campuses in the system will increase by 3.75% next school year under a plan approved by the Board of Regents. Combined with an increase in fees, the total tuition and fee increase will be 4.4% on average. This tuition hike is expected to generate about $39 million a year systemwide and will be used to combat rising costs.

Donation to Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Dr. Ruth Gottesman donates $1 billion to Albert Einstein College of Medicine, making it one of the largest charitable gifts to an educational institution in the U.S. Students will no longer have to pay tuition, starting in August.
