Reopening of Chi-Chi's Restaurant Chain
Minnesota-based Mexican restaurant chain Chi-Chi's, which shut down in 2004 due to a hepatitis A outbreak, is preparing to reopen some locations in 2025 under the ownership of the son of the co-founder. The brand still sells items in grocery stores, and the reopening is expected to capitalize on nostalgia for classic brands.
